WHAT TO VISIT IN NORTH DAKOTA

North Dakota is a state of the United States of America, placed right in the Midwestern area, next to Canada. In the east, is makes borders with Minnesota, in the south with South Dakota and in the west with Montana. With its population of 672,591 residents, it occupies the 3rd least place in the USA. Of all the cities in North Dakota, Bismarck is the biggest one and the capital of this state is Bismarck.

An important fact if you visit North Dakota is that the U.S. Air Force functions with Air Force Bases at Minot AFB and Grand Forks AFB. Even though the economy of the state has prospered, it happened that in June 2011, the flood has been harmful to Minot and Fargo.

In the Black Hills was discovered gold and as a result, the economy of Bismarck has increased seriously. The Garrison Dom built on Lake Sakakawea was a great contribution of the economy too. Until now it became a strong and fundamental point in North Dakota.

What attracted me most when I wanted to visit North Dakota was the fact that it has a range of 11 colleges and universities and of all these, the greatest institutions are North Dakota State University and the University of North Dakota.
