WHAT TO VISIT IN CHICAGO

There have been made up so many tales about Chicago that the most appropriate solution would be to go and visit Chicago by yourself and get convinced by what you see there!

From humble beginnings – in 1835 there was a group of houses near the river Chicago – the city was animated with activities, being rightly called “the city that works”. By 1890 it became the second city in America, after New York. In 1871, when a small fire in the western city turned into a blazing inferno, destroying everything within the city, the residents had the opportunity to rebuild the city to its foundations. This result consisted of wider streets and better sanitation.

If you are planning to visit Chicago, you should take into account the fact that it is famous for its jazz and blues clubs, and rightly so. But if the music is not on your taste, you can dine in the finest restaurants – you will find everything from food to exotic bacon.

Perhaps the most important feature of the city is its great architecture. Although it is not as big as New York, downtown is one of the most beautiful due to due the different styles of the buildings. You can live an unforgettable experience in the heart of town – standing on a bridge over the river Chicago, you have The Wrigley Building on one side and on the other one the high towers of the great center.
